In a week’s time we will be a third of the way through 2014. Time, as a modern version of the old saying might go, travels faster than Usain Bolt.
One of the mantras of this blog is that you don’t necessarily have to travel to the other side of the world to find an amazing travel experience.
With 2013 already becoming a distant memory, it seems an appropriate time to cast an eye over the travels Michelle and I undertook last year – part two!.
The Domesday Book makes reference to a windmill at Mapledurham, and today the old mill is the only one on the Thames still working. Together with the picturesque Mapledurham House and St Margaret’s Church, it forms the basis of a delightful day out in the Oxfordshire countryside.
