Mapledurham – From Domesday to The Eagle Has Landed

The Domesday Book makes reference to a windmill at Mapledurham, and today the old mill is the only one on the Thames still working. Together with the picturesque Mapledurham House and St Margaret’s Church, it forms the basis of a delightful day out in the Oxfordshire countryside.
