With 2013 already becoming a distant memory, it seems an appropriate time to cast an eye over the travels Michelle and I undertook last year.

There is a sudden edge to the previously relaxed conversation. Tempers are not quite fraying over Tapas, but the debate has a dicey ring to it. The reason for this strain in Spain: none other than that great Italian explorer, Christopher Columbus.


Seville – A short break in pictures

At 6pm in Seville the temperature had just peaked at 31 degrees centigrade. Tapas bars were slowly coming to life after the lull of siesta time, although the city wouldn’t truly start moving for at least a couple of hours.
