Blog – My favourite travel stories of the week
The life of a true nomad, spectacular Sao Paulo and a perfect pint of the black stuff.
Sounds good to me. Here are my favourite blog posts from the last week…
It is always interesting to hear other people experiences and ways of travelling, particularly when they involve a more nomadic way of life.
I’m more the tied to a desk job, get out of town for as exciting a vacation as I can get kind of traveller these days, so it’s exciting to hear stories like Justin Carmack’s.
Justin has been on the road for three years, picking up jobs in hostels and following the sun.
In this post he is interviewed by Megan Claire on the Mapping Megan website. It’s well worth a read.
There are some great pictures in this blog from Bethany Looi – both spectacular and of everyday life in Sao Paulo.
But what I like most is the use of photographs from Instagram, combined with Vine videos to paint a picture of her trip to the Brazilian city.
I suppose it shouldn’t be a surprise – Bethany is something of a social media expert.
Why wouldn’t you recommend a post that reveals how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness.
This post from Dave’s Travel Pages certainly left me thirsty…
